Purpose

This blog exist for two main purposes. Over time, as ideas are exchanged between a variety of humans representing all types of human groups, I hope several other purposes will evolve. The first purpose is to explore opinions, proposed solutions, and evidence based perspectives on culture, economics, education, law, and other external environmental conditions from persons self-identifying with a variety of people groups. The second purpose is to discover common social spaces in which a positive exchange can take place. I suppose, the initial task at hand, however, is developing a commonly accepted description of a “positive exchange”. Which brings me to another important intent of this blog – promoting thinking. So, in that spirit, we (whoever joins) will help think about what is meant by a “positive discourse” which will begin setting the basis for discovering ways that individual, personal goals can be achieved most effectively in a culturally heterogeneous environment.
But first, three simple rules:

  1. Use only English words that are, generally, socially acceptable in business and/or academic environments.
  2. Direct discussion at ideas, not people.
  3. I reserve the right to remove any post breaking either of these rules, but an explanation will be provided the poster upon request and all information pertaining to the action will be held in confidentiality.

Hopefully, no other rules will be necessary as I want to keep dialogue as open as possible.

Thank you for your participating in this important conversation. I look forward to sharing insights and understanding.
